Pressure treated lumber rated for ground contact will far outlast the above ground products. We only use lumber rated for ground contact. The white skirting was the customers idea, it looks great and we have had more customers ask for this same set-up.

We use butyl tape on all of our deck builds, it prolongs the life of the structure tremendously, water cannot sit on the substructure, it will provide many years of enjoyment.
